Why do you guys want Dan Hendo to retire?

Isnt he still winning fights? Werent that Mousasi and Vitor stoppages a lil bit premature?

No those two stoppages showed Dan has no more chin - he gets knocked down from the lightest of punches now. That is very bad, Hendo has never looked like that...he's only winning fights because the guy has insane power.

He should fight Bisping and retire, Hendos slow fighting style relies on his chin, timing and power - he doesn't have one anymore and age tends to mess up your timing.

He's got nothing to prove at all.
 
Bisping is going to knock his block off.
 
Rumor has it they are hosting a retirement party together in Manchester after the fight.
 
He's old and been in enough wars that he'll start forgetting the names of his kids let alone grandkids.

If Dan had no chin he would not have beaten Lombard... Id like to see Dan retire cause of his age, but hes still a capable fighter.

I doubt he retires win or lose, hes a stubborn mofo. he will only retire when he stops winning for good... imo.

He's capable only beacuse of his power.

Lombard stunned him with a shot that would have never done so to him earlier. The Mousasi loss was disgusting - Hendo with a chin would murder him. I just see any reason to have a guy who is already rich and still has his health at 46 to keep on fighting - especially when he's getting rocked and dropped so easily now.

I'm a massive fan of Hendo and its painful to see him get dropped by the likes of Mousasi - I'd love for him to KO Bisping and retire as the UFC champion - you can't get better than that.

No those stoppages were fine & he even could have been stopped in that first round vs Hector.. I mean shit, the dude still can do it which is amazing & good for him but he's obviously not at his best so it's just kind of worrisome for his health long term I guess. Dude has taken maaaaany blows to the dome. Glad he's realizing it's about time to hang 'em up.

I thought Mousasi was a great fighter? Well, that stoppage was a lil bit premature imo... yeah, its bad to see hendo getting dropped in almost everyfight... if i were him id retire cause of the age.

Dan looks stubborn... i think he will retire only when hes losing every fight. even getting dropped and shit doesnt seem to scare him.

I could see Dan Hendo in pride winning a decision over Mousasi with his wrestling. At no point in his career would he outstrike Mousasi. He might land an h-bomb, but Mousasi has always been light years ahead of Dan as far as technical striking goes. The Dan that was fighting in strikeforce would have lost to Mousasi imo. He still had a chin but he only used his right hand.
 
If he beats Bisping by H bomb 2.0. I will shit my pants. Especially in his home country. I just hope Dan retires and doesn't think he can do more after getting lucky against the count. Dan is always dangerous. I wonder if Dan would try grappling in this one.
