Why do we need to keep track of our ages?

Once you set regulations on such privileges as driving and purchasing alcohol, etc. it makes it kind of hard to stop keeping track of ones age.

maturity. I know it's a novel concept but that is what it comes down to.

Yeah but I don't think that is necessarily an age thing. While most people become more mature with age I have seen 18-late 20's more mature than people in their 30's, 40's and even 50's.

Anyway here is an example that happened to me last year. My buddies and I were going skydiving. We asked one of our friends older sister to go and she thought she was too old to do stuff like that. She is 33...
