It's just a promotional thing, a way for Harley to get some product placement in. I guess that's probably why Colton didn't seem at all that interested in the bike. LOL
From what I understand they're only prohibited from this type of stuff when they have a fight signed. It's a part of the bout agreements, not their main UFC contract.
But that is the funny thing. They sponsor a company that deems riding too dangerous. Not great marketing.
That's like saying that Bud Light shouldn't advertise UFC events because fighters can't be drunk in the octagon, which would be awesome by the way. Also, the UFC is a platform that reaches out to millions of people worldwide on a regular basis, which gives tons of publicity to the brand, associates it with a badass sport etc. So I'd say it's pretty good marketing, actually.
Cause Harley Davidson sponsor's the UFC and they make these things called motorcycles. Albeit ugly assed ones. Well... not all of them. But the one Smith received was 2 dollar hooker ugly.
Do what anyone else would, rev the absolute fuck out of it in your garage until you retire then just cruise the streets like a legend.
