Why do some consider May/Pac to be one sided?

You can't watch the fight in slow motion, watch it upside down.

In terms of the casual audience, it absolutely hurt the sport. 99% of people who bought the fight for 100 dollars(not 60) felt burned and ripped off.

Man they can have a rematch later this year and it would still sell.

That's not the point, it hurt the sport as a whole.
eh, only because it was billed as something it wasn't. The hardcore boxing fans knew it wasn't going to be a war. Hardcores knew Floyd wasn't going to sell out to please the fans and hardcores knew Manny wasn't going to turn Floyd into a heavy bag like Margarito.

All true, but while the hardcore boxing fan base keeps the sport alive, the casuals are what can really make it boom and thrive. That was boxing's showcase fight to potentially gain a lot of fans and push it back into the limelight in american sports culture again, it failed on many levels in that respect. It may be a lonnnnnng time before boxing gets that opportunity again where it garners the sports world's interest.
