Is it just part of the sport? is there a way to prevent it?
The training is vastly different from boxing, for starters. In some cases it's also a lack of intelligent training.
I really hate to say it's always the case, but a lot of things can be chalked up to that.lack of intelligent training is the correct answer.
I do, Im a pro boxer and train with Joe Soto at CVCA. I focus more on my boxing career but the wrestling, grappling strengthens my legs and overall body. I definitely get more injuries in MMA training down to my toes hurting, in boxing the worst I have felt is sore neck from head shots to some shoulder and arm pulls from movements. MMA is far more grueling and painful in every aspect.Do boxers wrestle and bjj?
