Conor is older now and clearly washed. He’s rich and has plenty of money making ventures outside of the UFC. So why on earth would he want to come back and keep fighting? He may be arrogant but even he isn’t delusional enough to think he is good at this point.

I get it for the washed guys who just need a paycheck. But Conor is probably sitting on $100mil+ in net worth. With his drug and alcohol abuse he’ll already be lucky to make it to 50. Guess he just wants to throw CTE and early dementia into the mix as well?

Ronaldo is like 100 times richer and still plays. Why?

Or Floyd Mayweeather who retired in his 40's.... Just because you're set for life doesn't mean your love for competition instantly dies.

Conor obviously isn't as hungry as before but he's still passionate about fighting.

Shaq does commercials for car insurance and printer ink. When you reach a certain level of fame, people will give you large amounts of currency for just existing. Conor isn't showing up to fight for 30k

Fighting is in his blood, he needs it as an outlet, or he would probably end up in prison. Heck, even now he's fighting a couple of assault charges. He punched the old guy at the bar, tried to fight Machinegun Kelly at Grammy Awards, attacked Khabib's bus, and those are just the ones I can remember. The guy is a wild man!

At the heart of it, that man loves to fight.

You can't deny him that. There is no other reason he would be there. It certainly isn't for some measly UFC paycheck.
