Why do people think Cain can do that to JDS again?

I mean, Cain didn't dominate a 100 percent JDS, JDS totally gassed in the first. Cain was fighting a tired man who was probably at around half strength. All props to Cain for actually GETTING JDS tired, but, what makes you think he can sap his strength again? I saw that as a total fluke, no well prepared fighter at this level gets tired that bad in the first unless something goes horribly wrong.

JDS is the smart money in this one.

If you did it once, you can obviously do it again, at least when what you did wasn't landing a once in a million spinning superman high kick, but simply beating down your opponent.

    He won't.

Junior will take his belt back.

What makes you think he can't do it again?

    As for
Cain Velasquez is what went horribly wrong for JDS.

    JDS didn't knock out a 100% Cain.

This is the argument JDS used to count the next fight in his favor, which I disagree 100%.
Cain couldn't finish him during in a 5-round fight but what's wrong with it? A decision win is still a win.
The fact is... who lands the first punch will take the fight. JDS has more punch power so a well landed strike in the 1st round probably will stun/KO Cain, while a well landed punch by the American will probably wear JDS and make him useless during the remaining rounds.
Also, you have to consider... Cain opted to outbox him because JDS wasn't offering any real threat to him but if he JDS suddenly regained the control of his body, Cain probably would take him down and gnp him all the remaining rounds.

Why do people think JDS will KO Cain in the first round again? Cain wasn't 100%

Because people have different thoughts, and opinions that are different than yours. The longer you live in life you will find out that this just doesn't happen in MMA but in other sports, politics, religion etc. It's what makes life interesting that no two people think exactly the same on everything.

The fight could go either way. Some people think one thing, some another.

    ...Is normal.

I think there's far more for JDS to learn from and take away from the second fight than there is for Cain. That's usually the nature of a loss vs a win.

I think if you look at the 2 previous fights, Cain is more likely to replicate his win more than JDS is.
Keeping in mind that the longer the fight lasts the more it favors Cain.

Dunno but this is gonna be interesting. Don't think I favour anyone, just want to see another great fight. Think this one will be somewhere between the first two as in both guys will be more mindful of each other and know each others strengths and weaknesses more.

You have been spending too much time with Anderson Silva.

On topic, I see these two in a 50/50 mix up. Each one has the potential to beat the other on any given day. Out of 10 fights I see it being quite an even split of maybe 6/4 in favor of Cain.

I agree with this. If JDS doesn't KO Cain in the first or second round it's probably going to a decision for Cain.

This is just excuse making. The fight was set up, they both prepared, entered the cage, and one guy dominated. Why do people think he can do it again? Because he already did it once, he's the champ and he's destroyed most of the top HWs in UFC. It was no fluke as much as youd like to force yourself to believe it.

JDS has the tools to beat Cain but he'l have to fight very smart

I'm really anxious to see this fight, it could be the fight of the year. I'd like to see JDS utilize the jab more and keep Cain at bay, then boom JDS via KO @2nd round.

Overtraining is what went horribly wrong for JDS.

I don't think he will. In fact, I see JDS knocking Cain out again.

Why do people think JDS can knock Cain out again? Listen, plain and simple, these guys are the two best in the world by far in the HW division. They're the type of guys that will split 10 fights but most people are too stubborn to admit that.
