I remember round 1 being a round of fighting. Penn won that round. Being a better fighter at heart.

Round 2 and 3, GSP made the smart decision to instead of fighting him, turned the last two round into tactical point fighting.

    It is what it is.

GSP won the sport match. And UFC is a sport.

What am I lying about? us having had this debate? We definitely did, and it revolves around you trying to say Serra was a worse fighter than Takase for a goat to lose to, which is obviously ludicrous.

I’ve seen every one of his Pride and UFC fights. I have almost every pride event on dvd and I have all the ufc events up to like 40 on a hard drive. Maybe if you ask nicely I’ll bother to take a picture for you later if you really need proof.

look at that idiot:"I was there at UFC 1, I have all Pride DVDs too!"

ok, letz see what you´ve got:

Takase vs Elvis, Split Dec. give us your assessment of that fight

    Takase vs Ronin, same

    Chonan vs Vilasenor, same.

Takase vs Johil, controversial dec. (criticized by the Luta Livre crew), same.

Takase vs Lombard, what´s your take?

Takase didnt beat GSP or come within a nut hair away from beating matt hughes tho, which has to be considered way better than all this stuff, and subbing a green Canderson.

I like Takase, but no way he is better than Serra. He wouldnt even beat Serra, most likely.

I love the part where we leave out whatever BJ did in round 2 or 3. GSP simply decided to point fight and BJ was like "ok"

GSP haters should just admit they want him to change his style so he loses.

He didnt really have much choice. As GSP is way better athlete. With better wrestling and stronger body.

Not sure why i need to point this out.

In modern MMA [>1999], the undersized fighter is not supposed to be competitive @ OW.

“Casuals” have this weird unnatural hate for GSP. The same people think Usman is a slouch. It’s hard to understand why More people don’t just watch kickboxing or MT. Nullifying your opponent’s strengths is a great way to win fights and be champ. I don’t care for Usman’s LLCJ persona because he can’t pull it off but the guy just fought an instant classic against Covington not to long ago and his rep is still Snoozeman. FFC.

Wow you are actually just being a straight up little bitch now.

I never said Chonan was in the same category as him, so you can remove that fight

Takase vs Carlos Newton was an awesome fight, one of my favorites since I like bjj. Takase lost though and only did as well as he did because Carlos was too nice in that fight not throwing strikes from the top.

    Nino bested him

Don’t remember the Johil fight, but it’s kind of funny seeing you undermining one of his few wins. Oh and never seen the Lombard fight, you know since it wasn’t on one of those events that I have

Most of his fights, when he fought a well wounded MMA fighter he caught a beating. He was a one dimensional grappler

There you go you little cunt. Now tell us what actually impressed you so much about him. Was it him subbing someone named Mr. X that makes him such a worthy foe for Anderson Silva?

That´s what I said, you´ve never, ever watched those fights, the Nino fight betrayed you.

tbh, even if you indeed had watched them, you dont have a sound knowledge of Pride´s Scorin´System, and consequently are not qualified to assess those decisions.

What 2 to do? What 2 say? It iz what it iz.

well, I asked you a technical assessment of the Takase vs Ronin fight, assessment of the controversial split decision... and this is what I got from you:

"Takase vs Carlos Newton was an awesome fight, one of my favorites since I like bjj. Takase lost though and only did as well as he did because Carlos was too nice in that fight not throwing strikes from the top."

    You´re a clown.
