Because social media has made it easy for women to be models (although they use the term "influencers"). They don't have the Super Model looks but have the model looks.
So they use that to make thousands or millions of dollars, so they don't have to work 9-5 jobs like the rest of us 80's people.
I admit, I follow a few of them on instagram, mainly cosplayers...not the ones that post of them and their boyfriends because if i follow you, only want to see that good looking woman and not some dude. The rest is real celebrities and friends.
