    for their success?

Take Gustaffson for example. Why doesn't he thank Sweden's lenient criminal justice system for his second lease at life after his violent spree as an young adult? as well as the rehabilitation officers for curbing his criminal disposition?

god made him a criminal but the courts made sure he can get paid for something he loves to do for fun.

Actually they usually thank both. But I agree, they should ditch that fairytale figure and only thank people.

    God deserves his props.

Why do people thank God when a surgery goes over well, but blame the surgeon when it fails?

    People are dumb.

Fighters can be religious. People that are religious believe in god. People that believe in god believe that god helps them accomplish everything that is good in their lives. Fighters that aren't religious don't do this. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs. Next question.

You could refer to it as lenient, I like to refer to it as humane.

So do I but I don't believe he is responsible for everything that happens. When I graduated high school it wasn't because of god it was because of my own work and help from teachers and my parents.

Yeah, but God put those people in your life to help you and give you the opportunity to be successful. It's a different perspective. Putting God first. It's about humility really.

Fighters tend to talk about what's important to them and what has made an impact in their life in the interview after a fight. If God has made an impact in their life, they talk about God. If it's a family member, they talk about the family member.
