It's just a talking point that doesn't actually matter and cycles often. A few years from now there will be a whole new crop of talent and people will be saying how they are the greatest. So, why is it such a debated topic ?

There are things in life money can't buy, being considered the greatest is one of them. Money and greatness are not mutually exclusive either, you can draw money while chasing GOAT status, Ali did it so did GSP.
