Jones - No power and slow
Fedor - Wild, looping shots with chin straight up in the air
GSP - Nice jab but stiff, robotic, and not much head movement
Silva - Hands down, bad at leading/pressuring
Aldo - No jab and swings too many haymakers so gasses out quickly

It seems like Conor and DJ are the only GOATs with sound fundamental boxing skills.

Becouse MMA fighters have to work on all MMA aspects. This game asks more than have good hands

The answer is 'what is mixed martial arts'

Artem - 10/10 on his defense and offense, but 8/10 for his head movement.
If only he had a good coach like Edmund.

Jones makes up for it with distance control creativity and elbows/quickly engaging the clinch. GSP was 'robotic" BUT highly effective ask Jake Shields. Aldo has a jab but prime Aldo would spam strikes to his opponents leg and it was more effective than a jab in MMA. Out of his prime Silva dropped Griffin with a jab. Fedor is gonna Fedor.

Moose and Holloway have sound jabs....

McGregor does not have a sound fundamental Boxing skill set, or even a basic Boxing skill set.. So far from it. DJ has shown basic Boxing skill set fundamentals yes, sound fundamentals no.

Boxing is a dying sport. Been exposed too many times by MMA to be considered legit.

We haven't started seeing good boxing until very recently.

You say GSP had terrible boxing. His boxing for MMA was legendary at the time and ground breaking. Why? He introduced the jab to the sport.

Not kidding.

That's how boxing skill has been in MMA until recently. The guy you call robotic, etc. actually had the best boxing in MMA of all time at one point.

A lot of it's because the stuff that looks like "good boxing" requires a boxing stance. Using a bladed stance at a 180 degree angle from your opponent requires a lot of adaptations and skill in MMA to deal with kicking defense and takedown defense. It's much easier to just use a muay thai stance or something more angled but that greatly limits your ability to punch. Boxing feels natural in a bladed stance; it's a lot more "loopy" when you stand at an angle.

1.) Aldo has a good jab. And besides Cruz and maybe Anderson he has the best head movement in UFC history.

2. Conor isn't a GOAT

Another day another shit thread from K-poop

Because you can't box. You'll get taken down and lose pts so it's a hybrid style.

When mma fighters throw hands they arent trying to box. They also have to think about kicks and takedowns, or even than the opponent is just pawing to grab at their hands. The reason their boxing looks bad is that they arent boxing, ever, even when they are throwing punches

Well, to be fair, those guys came from different backgrounds and their base isn’t boxing.

Bring more boxers to MMA, I'm sure they'll all KO people left and right

Boxing is not as effective in MMA as it is in boxing, they need to defend takedowns and in MMA punches do more damage so they don't normally need to set up complicated boxing combos.

Because what we consider "good looking boxing" happens in a very close range and is way more rare in MMA, because it's way harder to defend against punches in MMA and the risk of clinching, takedowns, knees, etc. is there as well.
