In your opinion, why did the UFC create a 145lb women division for Holly Holm?
 
they didnt.
 
On the off chance she can somehow beat Cyborg, and they can have two white blondes as champions of FW and BW?
 
Because Holly is a bigger draw than most, check ratings before you @ me.

As a longtime Cyborg fan, they didnt.
 
BECAUSE, after RRR beats Nunes, she will avenge loss to HH, and become 2Division champ, then retire.
 
So when Ronda wins tonight and Holly wins at 208 they can make the rematch and give Ronda 2 belts.

Best explanation, yet. Makes a lot of sense from the UFC's perspective as a promotion.
 
was for cyborg. the ufc let her main event twice and im assuming it did good enough numbers to realzie they are letting thousands maybe millions go down the tube with her at invicta.



to bad she fucked up and got flagged. i was fully team borg but i cant root for her against less "handsome" woman
 
It's obvious that the UFC is hoping Holly and Ronda both win their next fights. Then Ronda will rematch Holly for the 145 belt and, win or lose, retire.
 
Division was set up to facilitate a champion vs champion mega fight for Ron.
