Thats true. This is why the ufc should just get rid of the no head strikes to a grounded opponent rule. Yan’s knee should have been legal with no controversy.
No, I agree with the first part of your post but not the bold. You can't let one guy fight with one set of rules and his opponent has a different set of rules. If knees were legal on the ground and Sterling knew it he wouldn't have been in that position.
