I remember watching Shields on Bully Beatdown back in the day and it looked as if the Bully was getting the better of the stand up portion.

Shields had some of the worst, robotic, awkward striking a Pro fighter could have. Yet GSP, who is regarded as a GOAT candidate(not my me) around here struggled to do much with Jake.

GSP had the superior wrestling and FAR superior stand up when compared to Shields yet Shields busted GSP up and was never closed to getting finished by Georges.

GSP fanatics, explain.

Gsp is not thee goat. No . I don't have him in top 5. However , I'll back him here by saying that all the greats have some " flat" performances .You're a legend, its bound to happen. Also Jakey scratched up the eye ball of Gsp with what he calls a " punch" .Also styles make fights so this would be a fight that I could see going the distance as Gsp owns a good jab but outside that his legion of fans make him out to have this flawless game.
