Why Dana want Woodley to lose do bad?

UFC routinely fucks people over, even "company guys". He should be difficult. It's his job, and he's fighting for money not Dana's approval. Fuck Dana.
I agree
The op wants know why Dana hates him
So I gave him reasons

Woodley has no interesting narrative. He's relegated to the 2nd best WW ever for the foreseeable future, doesn't promote fights, and often has boring fights. He's preventing marketable guys from becoming stars. On top of that, he apparently isn't easy for Dana to negotiate/get along with.

Woodley is a boring, whiny, racist asshole that doesn't respect anyone or anything. That combined with Dana's ego is the recipe of a shit show

He was noticeably upset in his last title defence. Why doesn't he like Tyrone? Woodley has 1.1 mil followers on IG, which is top 10 in the UFC for followers. Seems like he has a decent following. What's the deal?
He sees him as unmarketable his last PPV did 200K

People who are saying Woodley is boring have a short memory or just started watching mma. He fought awsome fights until he got match up against the biggest 1 trick pony of mma. Maia. Then he fought another boring point fighter who's afraid to take a belt by engaging. Twice. He even was afraid to fight Till.
And outside of those boring fighter all his fights against other opponents where fun to watch. But most of you are to dumb to think for yourself and like to copy what others say.

Dana White doesn't like any fighter that tells him no. Ortiz, GSP, Couture, Woodley ect. the thing they all have in common is that they told Dana no to something he wanted and he's unprofessional and holds grudges.

He has 1.1 million followers and from his PPV numbers not a single one buys his fights. Hence the reason they had to put him on a stacked card. Woodley is an amazing fighter but the whiney race baiting turns people off. Woodley loves to play victim.

"No interesting narrative"... this is nonsense.

Being second to GSP is not something Dana would be upset about.

"doesn't promote fights"... is also nonsense.

Who is he preventing from becoming a star?

Covington, Askren, and GSP are all top WWs who are not easy for Dana to negotiate with. So what?

Hard to promote, not very popular despite being a dominant champion with several defenses.

Because Woodley is the type of fighter who will stand there and stare at a guy all night.

Maybe he knocks ya out, yeah. But there’s gonna be a whole lotta nothing going on in the mean time. It’s just hard to promote.

Oh, also: he tends to shoot him self in the foot as often as he can. That’s just not a good look either

Your're right they aren't, but the narrative of Woodley being a "boring fighter" only came after those 2 fights. Woodley's first fight with Wonderboy at UFC 205 was fight of the night, but since his second fight with him sucked, along with the Damian Maia one, all of a sudden, he's been branded a "boring" fighter and people use the 3 when it was only 2, and again, those are not ALL his fault. He tried to make stuff happen within the confines of their awkward styles and succeeded, he nearly killed Wonderboy in both their fights.

What about his performance against Till? Was that boring? No, because he wasn't going against an awkward specialist. The dude also has 4 first round finishes in the UFC, he wasn't "Boring" when he KO'ed Robbie Lawler, and his last fight definitely wasn't boring, but if that's the narrative you want to hold onto that's fine.

When he Knocks Usman the Fuck Out, we'll see if you change your tune. He's not a "Boring" fighter.

Most of the fights he had in strikeforce were boring as fuck. His fight with Gastelum was boring as fuck. His fight with Jake Shields was boring as fuck. The two fights with Wonderboy were boring as fuck. The Maia fight was boring as fuck.

He's the common denominator. He's boring as fuck.

Dana White hates that Tyron Woodley refuses to conform to racist stereotypes, like that of the "thug" or the over the top arrogant "baller" just to sell fights but instead just fighting the good fight and speaking out against racism in MMA which the UFC hates since they need racial stereotypes to sell fights.

Not only does Tyron have to deal with racism from the UFC and a part of the MMA community, he also has to deal with the gaslighting technique, of being accused of being 'the real racist,' for bringing up the fact that he is being subjected to it.

The UFC was trying to fix that fight for a win for Till at UFC 228 but justice prevailed when Woodley destroyed the UK next great white hope in Darren Till.

Further proof is when Dana WHITE ducked the press conference afterwards.
