Why can't the Womens 135lb weight class be 140lbs??

if i was ufc president i would persuade the ac to make a 140 division to replace 135, and immediately set up the biggest fight in ufc history

think of that money. i assume dana doesn't do this cause he doesn't want his golden meal ticket to lose

While Dana's doing that he should also persuade the ACs of the world to allow fighters to bring weapons into the cage.

As much as it would help some fighters (cyborg) it would hinder the smaller fighters in the weight class who would prefer to fight at 125 if there was a women's flyweight devision

Lets alter the division to accomodate a single fighter, that makes sense. What if Cyborg did get the new division at 140 and came in and got dominated and was no longer relevant as a title contender to Rousey? You just changed the division forever to get a single matchup out of it.
