Why can’t the ufc just make fightpass like the WWE network?

do you think the ufc can’t afford it?

Are they scared they will have to pay the fighters more?

Obviously nobody here KNOWS but I’d love to discuss

And for those of you who don’t know the wwe network works like this :

You pay 9.99 and you get all the entire library of wwe events AND the ppvs LIVE

Because the ufc makes more on ppvs rather than give them for $10 per month

I think wwe makes considerably more via their cable programs so they are as reliant on ppv revenue maybe

But ufc is still stingy, you should get $10 off ppv buys through fight pass and be able to rewatch them

They don't want a copyright infringement having stolen so much from the WWE already.

I hate how I have to wait a month for an event to be put on there.

If ufc charged 20 bucks a month it would be a good deal if it included ppv because that would cut out the cable companies cut. But I don't know how it would affect bars that pay thousands of dollars to show a ppv....bars all around pay big bucks to show a UFC ppv and the UFC makes a lot of money on that. If a bar just has to pay 20 bucks a month for an online service. I don't know about that.

Also wwe has employees.
Video games that people actually like.
Merch that fans actually buy.
Constant meet n greets.
Actual stars

Because UFC makes most of their money on PPV. $10 a month would kill them.

I do think their plan is to get there eventually but in order for that to happen, they have to get a huge TV deal. WWE got away with it because every PPV was drawing under what a Mighty Mouse card would do and they have a very lucrative TV deal. They are basically the reverse of UFC where the TV deal is everything to them.

UFC wants a 400 million dollar TV deal and if they can get that, you'll probably see a reduction in PPV.
