Why BJM really stood them up

It wasn't because of the crowd - who was incredibly pro Silva, myself included, that did chant in unison to stand them up...

Anyway, the real reason BJM stood them up was because he had an earpiece in. I was there live and I saw it. Watch the fight again if you don't believe me. I guarantee you someone on the UFC's end told him to stand them up... The fight was a joke placeholder anyway.

FYI BJM stood them up because DC was blanketing, it's not that hard to figure out.
 
That might be true that he was blanketing, but he was also in half guard 90% of the time. It was a questionable standup and he was wearing an ear piece
 
Actually, I think he would have stood them up a lot sooner and more often if not for the crowd. Blankytime was in full effect last night.....
 
Too bad he didn't do it more. DC just had a full meal at Popeyes and wanted to hug someone warm and take a nap.

No, it was definitely not questionable in any sense
 
They were shady ass standups. DC was punching him in the face over and over
 
i actually thought it seemed like DC carried SIlva, could of done a lot off the ground and just GNP'd his head thru the ring. Prolly coulda bombed on em standing too. I think DC had nothing but respect for Silva and didnt feel compelled to break his face. Tho I dont think it has anything to do with any UFC-conspiracy. I think DC just appreciated silva stepping up and his legacy in the sport enough.

I agree 100% and so did the 5 others (all as fans but me) I watched it with. Yet we will be burned for the truth. Especially me as Fedor fan ha
 
Meh, those weren't immediate standups, they happened after a long session of Cormier hanging out in Silva's half guard. I saw nothing controversial about that, but i bet Rogan was having a field day about the standups. I saw the fights in person so no commentary lol.

Meh.. people are always excited to see A. Silva, DC was in a bad spot because of all the hype generated for the Jones fight and then got propelled into this fight, something that was totally awesome for him to do in the situation. If your the best wrestler in the division and your fighting A. Silva you don't need to stand and bang with him. I can get arrogant and shitfaced off PBR and still understand that.
