It makes no sense to me. The use of an IV compared to a fighter who doesn't use it can lead to a huge weight advantage, and to be honest, thats what it looked like against every opponent Costa faced, Costa looked double the size of every 185er hes faced so far.
So theres evidence tied to him using an IV in possibly his last two fights, so why are they not overturned decisions? He had an unfair advantage against those opponents and took away their chances at progressing in the division as well. The losing fighters should have legal claim to dispute those losses as use of an IV is strictly prohibited. Thats bullshit if you ask me, every fight where an IV was used should be a no contest.
On top of all that, he hasnt fought since August 2018, so his reduced suspension is already up. They literally discovered this days ago and he is eligible to compete. He can snitch all he wants, but you want to respect a fighter who purposely cheated behind the scenes then when caught, proceeded to snitch on others to save face? I will never be fan.
Just for the sake of USADA and their legitimacy, this is just nuts if those wins stay the way they are. As a fighter, I would take USADA to court with the premise that all PEDs are not actually tested when they are expected to, with consequences that lead to a possible serious detriment on their mental and physical health, as well as the fact that they have to deal with the serious effects of losses due to USADA failing to properly serve justice to fighters affected.
