When the champ destroys the challenger, there is no rematch.

Bunch of casuals.

There are plenty of people out there that don't even understand the level of whopping Khabib put on Conor, so the casual media obviously is part of it.

I wish I could throw every guy that says something along the lines of "lol he was just hugging him all fight, he isn't a real fighter" in a grappling class just to expose themselves to how dumb they are.

I would be more interested in a match between Khabib and another opponent.

McGinger doesn't have shit on Khabib.

are ye all retarded?

Its not about whether he deserves it, there is no concept of fairness here

If mcgregor wants it, it will happen, why?

Because it will be highest grossing ppv of all time, especially after all the post fight nonsense. Would be double the mcgregor diaz 2 hype. Everybody loves a comeback against all odds story

it will happen

I'm not mad at Connor. I would love to see him get humiliated twice. Connor should avoid the rematch like the plague. A second mauling destroys any legacy he's built.

Enjoy it. Its desperation.

We have earned the position to watch the McNugget hord melt like the witch in Oz

Explain to me other then Diaz what fight options there are , keep in Mind Conor gets 3 million + PPV points & it seems now his opponents get 2 million , so with only 2 options & such good money for everyone does it really seem that odd?

Conor should fight Nate, Poirier or Aldo. Those are rematches that would be actually interesting. He doesn’t have right to a gift title shot now after a beating like that.

Conor doesn't want a rematch. He might say he does but he doesn't, trust me.

He's going to fight the winner of Nate/Poirier.

Khabib smashed Conor. Rematch will only happen in Russia. But next = Tony Ferguson.

If mcgregor won more than one round or even look like he had khabib in danger I would be all about it. McGregor looks like he's more interested in selling whiskey and counting his money than his heart being in the game. I love McGregor during his streak, he probably could have won if he kept his momentum, but he took 2 years off after Mayweather and hasn't been the same since. McGregor doesn't come off as zen or intelligent as he used to be. He doesn't talk about his dedication any more for a reason. He has mentally reached the peak of the mountain and now he's climbing down.

From a perspective that fair and right are present you are correct. But you are an absolute tool if you think that Conor wouldn’t get the rematch if he wants it.

I'm about 80% sure even if he did, khabib would reject him on the context that it would be unfair to Ferguson and of his '''legacy"

I could see Dana pressuring Khabib to take it. 50/50 he takes it.

Can he though? Dana he what he wants on account that it is his show

I hope so .
From what we've seen from Khabib, he is not a yes-man. He will follow his ideals whether you like it or not. Like how he told the press in front of Dana of how he dislike Dana acknowledging Conor holding 2 belts.
Khabib knows if he wants to be the true pound for pound king, he will have to fight Ferguson. There's no other option. Maybe he'll retire after that, who knows, but I'd rather he fights Tony and Lee( if he is still winning) before he retires
