In a street fight, the 2 guys just rush at each other and it's over within 15 seconds.
In mma , a lot of fights go to decision.
Why?

mostly unskilled bums who either dont know how to pace themselves and have an adrenaline dump. if one does pace themselves they murk the other one

A lack of a rules, poor cardio, little to no defensive knowledge, no cage to keep them enclosed (or to keep others out) and probably the most important, most people get punched in the face and don't fancy another one.In a street fight, the 2 guys just rush at each other and it's over within 15 seconds.

From experience: lack of defense and adrenaline dump. You go HARD in a street fight.... for about 15 seconds. And no one has any sort of defense/head movement so a good jab can take someone out. Not to mention when it goes to the ground it's many times broken up.In a street fight, the 2 guys just rush at each other and it's over within 15 seconds.
