UFC is learning from Glory LOL

For a long time now they've pushed a narrative of "fighters have to train and be ready all the time"

Where are the big fights for 234 that justify a 65$ price tag?

What justifies the permanent increase from $55 that was supposed to be for 1 event?

Between Fight Pass ESPN + and PPV's being a fan of the UFC is getting/ been expensive.

Maybe I need to get better job.
Maybe I will just feed my kids beans and rice on the weeks I need to order PPV.

"The UFC just got a little more profitable.

It makes sense that cable companies make their money off pay-per-view by taking a cut of the sales, but you might be surprised to know how big of a cut they get. Up until recently, the UFC has had to split revenue with the big providers 50/50. But according to the Sports Business Journal, they’ve just renegotiated that number to a much more reasonable 70/30 split in favor of the fight promotion."

“[UFC president Dana White] also has upped the UFC’s share of revenue from its pay-per-views, negotiating the portion taken by distributors from the industry standard of 50 percent down to closer to 30 percent. And when viewers stream the show directly from the UFC’s website or Fight Pass, he cuts out the distributors entirely.”
