I don't totally disagree with you about Jones possibly being the baddest, but even Jones admits that fighting DC at heavyweight would stack the odds more in DC's favor. That means that when DC was champ he very well could be considered the baddest man on the planet

Jones was on steroids fighting at his optimal weight while DC was near 40, fighting clean, and not at his optimal weight.

HW DC is a different animal. Jones knows this and has stated that's why he's not fighting him at HW.

Stipe was mililmeters from getting KO'd on several occasions in early rounds,it's a hindsight bias now that Stipe dominates him.. Their another fight would be a toss up at least imo. And Francis has surely improved since then
