A striker who developed good takedown defense???

Or a wrestler who developed good striking???

Jones,GSP, Fedor,Mighty Mouse and cejudo are all wrestlers who can out strike other wrestlers and out wrestle strikers.

what do you experienced sherbros think??

The one who uses anti-wrestling to keep striking.

GSP was not a wrestler. He was a striker that learned how to wrestle.

    GSP was a striker first.

He's also not valid for this list as he was just better than everybody at everything (in his time)

    Barao vs TJ
    Machida vs Randy
    Barboza vs Lee
    Aldo vs Mendes

really just depends on the individual but I love me some kickboxing and sprawl and brawl. I'll go with the strikers like Barao, Aldo, Santos

Depends on the individual but also the state of the division and style match ups.

GSP had no wrestling training in HS, or college. He started out as a striker.

Edited. Just reading the thread. Many have already said what I said.

I guess that is the one thing that puts him a notch above almost everyone else in alot of people’s minds. Went from no wrestling to being considered one of the very best ever.

Neither, you need to poke eyes and take testosterone. That stuff outweighs any and all "high level skills you can develop"

And if they catch you, just be super vigilant, serve your suspension and get yourself back to the gym
But snitch on someone, because that'll speed things up

And remember to thank your lord and savior for how blessed you are

Should've added striker who developed good defensive AND offensive wrestling as an option.

I don't think he was better than everybody at everything but he was better than everyone at something, or a few things. I think he was vastly better at mixing striking and grappling than everyone else. His timing and distance management IMO is what set him apart from his peers.
