Who's your prospects without tons of hype?

i was on the ryan bader bandwagon early and I thought rick story was a future champ

I was going to say Ryan Bader but I'm pretty sure he always had hype since winning TUF, Jones put a halt to it but he always slowly rised up with proper challenges for the moment.
Also a huge Rick Story fan I expected him to get a title shot.

Honestly I do not see a ton on the horizon.

I really like Ciryl Gane at HW. I like Sodiq Yussuf at FW. And even though she is coming off a loss, I like Macy Chiasson. I think she will be champ in 2.5-3 years.

Calvin Kattar
Cyril Gane
Alex Rakic (despite losing his last one)

I remember being high on:

Fighter Kevin Lee: Never reached the top but still have time.
Curtis Blaydes: Will be top 5 for years to come
Vitaly Minakov: Outside the UFC.. fell off bad.

Tavares usually does a good job of battering people to a decision that aren't elite but to be fair I doubt people expected him to get brutally finished like that
