Who's the most complete striker of all time?

Anderson. The type of KO's he produced will never be repeated. Dude lived in a matrix in his prime. Conor is just a knock out artist with his left hand but Anderson is much more well rounded striker
No lol, jeremy stevens is a knockout artis.

Conor and Anderson are counter strikers Lol Anderson dodged by inches, Conor dodges by centimeters. Ima go ahead and say countering guys like porier, diaz, aldo, mendes, alverez is a much harder task then fucking forest griffen, ryan bader, chris leben, rich franklin.

Anderson is a more complete striker, but Conor will always be a better counter striker. He doesnt rely on gimicky baits and hands down goading to bait counters on pathetic strikers. He gets his counters off distance management and timing. The finishing combo he landed on Alverez is the greatest counter we have seen in the UFC. Slides back to the punch barely brush his nose then hits Alverez with left before Alverez is even done throwing the punch.

At what point did anyone think yushin okami, thales leites, travis lutter, patrick cote, etc were good strikers? The fact that anderoid got boliverated vs whineman and the cunt in the stand-up pretty much says it all.
those were the highest ranked guys at the time. this is irrelevant how good they were in certain aspect of the game. You forgot to mention Vitor and Hendo (two shitty strikers ;) ) Keep hating boi and keep living in Conor bubble until it explodes

He's amazing. It's hard to find guys more talented than him.

He’s on another level right now. What he’s doing with his training is brilliant, training with such high level fighters like Lomachenko and traveling around and putting in all the extra work transcends into his fights.

He put Cody in the matrix and really beat Cody with his own style.

All time I would say Anderson is the most complete striker but hands down in today’s mma scene, Dillashaw is the most complete striker.

Not the best, but who could do it all

This makes it interesting since it eliminates a lot of the usual suspects.

Complete and can do it all means the fighter can work well at all ranges, going both forward & backward on offence & defence. A lot of the usual names that pop up on the "best striker" lists can't do that, some of them do their best work on the counter and have a hard time leading, others are offensive monsters but go to pieces when pressured & forced backwards, some of them can't fight in the clinch, others have a hard time in the pocket, and so on & so forth.

For me, Holloway and Jedrzejczyk are on the short list. Both of them can work well at all ranges and have shown that they're effective whether they're leading or countering. Holloway is better at banging it out in the pocket with his shot selection, head movement, and positioning while Joanna is better at working in the clinch.

GSP was pretty diverse.

There are many more gifs and analysis on GSP. He was pretty sick in the standup. Almost had everything in his striking arsenal.

Anderson, and it's not even a discussion. He was doing techniques 10+ years ago that guys are using now. Seriously if your answer isn't Anderson, you should honestly not even be allowed to discuss martial arts matters. Go back and watch some tape, the Gifs you see here don't do him justice, almost every striking technique you see today from your favorite fighters, was employed by Anderson a decade ago.

For your sake, never compare Anderson to Conor in terms of anything, standing up or grappling.

some things he was doing 10 yrs ago, some guys like Amar Suloev were doing them some 15-17 yrs ago...lmao

Still...hespect to Spider.

Not saying he created them, just that he was the most gifted striker ever. He could do it all, he was in a league of his own. The origin of the techniques goes way back, but no one put them together like Anderson, Suloev was not in Anderson's league.

A lot of people in this thread confusing "most complete" with "best", which the OP very clearly said he was not looking for "best". Though in Silva's case he isn't just a contender for "best", he was also very diverse. I think he just underutilized kicks for most of his career. The only reason I would say he is a decent contender for "most complete" is because his diversity was matched by his insane evasive movement.

The first fighter I thought of was Condit, but after more thought, Marquardt also fits.
Both have some crazy, straight out of a movie/video game combos that involve several of either punches, low kicks, high kicks, elbows, knees, and spinning backfists with virtually every strike hitting the target.

Marquardt, filling the room with uppercuts (and the rest of the kitchen sink)
