So, for example, FEdor hits hard asf, or even Ngannou, but if it's pound for pound, you'd lean towards someone from lightweight classes, since bigger you are, more likely you possess some ko power in one form or another, compared to guys from a smaller weight classes.

Something like

FW:Conor
LW:Gomi
WW: Prime Hendricks
MW: Hendo
LHW: Rumble
HW: Ngannou

I'm sure i'm leaving out some, not sure who the best pound for pound knock out power artist of all time would be.

Manhoef always comes to mind first when this comes up.

Shane Carwin. No one KOs people with short strikes like him.

Melvin Manhoef was absolutely terrifying as a striker. Prime Hendricks’ left was on a level of it’s own. Henderson’s H Bomb is a legendary thing and he was able to land it again and again. Woodley has (had?) a monstrous right hand.

None of these guys is a sharpshooter. They obviously have good punching techniques, but the power...

ngannou and no one close, show me one video of someone getting KO by a punch who landed on the forearm ... only ngannou can do this ( against a granite chin btw )

Carwin over ngannou
Ngannou loads right up carwin barely had to touch you
