I mean it's objectively Sinatra, Elvis, and Michael Jackson. The Beatles are more well known as a band than split, The Rolling Stones are better known as a band than Mick is individually, and as much as I like Johnny Cash and James Brown they were never as big as the three I picked. I mean it's very clear the biggest musical artists in the world went from Bing Crosby then on to Frank Sinatra, then Elvis, then The Beatles (with probably The Rolling Stones in at #2; post-Beatles pre-Michael Jackson I'm not quite sure), then Michael Jackson in the 80's (and there were some big contenders then).
