    the third is a toss up between a lot of guys. I was struggling between Freddie and Marley but you could make an argument for a lot of guys in that third spot

    From the list I'd say the most iconic are Bowie, Cash, Presley and Jacko.

    MJ, Elvis and Bob Marley, especially worldwide. Not to take away from other accomplishments since there are a lot of big names in this list. Guys like McCartney and Lennon don't stand strong enough alone, but if you say The Beatles they are definitely one of the most iconic groups ever. Same with Freddie Mercury and Queen.
