i say khabib the eagle, he has three wins and went from just a prospect with hardly any legit wins to a top ten elite who is 1 or 2 fights from a title shot

Gus, Pettis, and as much as it pains me Weidman.

If you gota give the nod to one guy though Gus just made a name for himself in a big way.

    Edit: Also Jacare

Weidman is the clear winner simply because of 1 punch.

    No Khabib love, TS?

Shows how little people think of Weidman's win over Silva then they are picking Gus who lost to Jones over Weidman who KO'd arguably the GoAT

Don't blame anyone though for thinking that way though ...

Barao, unless Chris beats Anderson again. If Chris wins the rematch, then no one else even comes close.

I'm surprised no one has said T.J. Grant. I know he's on the DL, but that dude has smashed some high caliber opponents and earned his shot at the title. I don't see anyone at LW who can beat him right now.

p.s. 300 and it only took me 6 1/2 years.

I would have to say Weidman. I gave him a decent shot against Silva in their fight, but never ever in a million years would I have predicted a knockout, even if I knew he would win before the fight. It's true that Anderson's shananigans might devalue the win in some people's eyes, but the bottom line is that Chris knocked Anderson the F out. Gustafsson is skyrocketing right now, but I've been a fan for so long that it's difficult for me to consider him only breaking out now.

lol at connor above Weidman. He beat the guy who when poeple said GOAT it wasn't an inside joke the whole MMA world was saying. He will be all over ESPN again today. That's like the third time in a year.

Weidman knocked out Anderson Silva. Clearly it's him.
