Out of all the HW greats, here's how I categorized them

Definitely would beat prime Tyson:

Ali
Prime Holmes
Foreman
Both of the Klitschko brothers
Liston
Lennox lewis
Fury

Maybe these guys:

David Tua
Holyfield
Riddick Bowe
Usyk?
James Toney lol

You want our input on over a dozen fantasy match-ups? Why not just pick one from that list and stick with it.

Earnie Shavers, Smokin Joe

Ali, Holmes, Holyfield, Foreman, Bowe, possibly Liston

hard to say because Mike left so many questions unanswered. I think Ali and Holmes definitely beat him, some of the bigger guys like Fury, Lewis and (hate to say it) the K bros might just be too big. Hell, I don't know because Mike only filled maybe 70 percent of what he had. A lot of that he did to himself, a lot of it was stuff that maybe was out of his control.

Wladimir would hold on for dear life, normally the referee should disqualify him.

If Wlad is the champion and the fight takes place in let's say Germany, he would just do that - clinch like there's no tomorrow.
If Mike is the champion and the event takes place in the US, Wlad would be forced to fight... And he'd get knocked out.

Mike vs. Fury would resemble Mike vs. Tony Tucker.
Otto Wallin had him on the verge of a loss. That fight should have been stopped.

Not a hard question to answer at all, 13 easy KOs for Mike.

That isn't the best comparison. Tony Tucker weighed the exact same as Mike when they fought. Fury would have 40+ lbs and even more height & reach over Mike than Tucker did. Wallin's success was mainly the cut itself. He only took a few rounds off Fury at best and that probably has more to do with Fury overlooking him and Wallin being a southpaw.

Some guys might be too big for him the same way he'd be too big for marciano or dempsey. Really is so hard to say because Mike left us such a mess to judge off of. You have a guy who was the youngest hw champ ever which is great, he cleans up the division that was there, which is great, then loses to Buster Douglas by a horrible beating and a kayo looking totally overmatched and then spends the rest of the years he could have been dominant in prison, comes out, wins a title and then loses in a beating again. Hard to place him. And it was never true that he was a giant killer, Tucker made a competitive fight out of it, did Mike every totally decimate anyone above 6-3? I guess Biggs was one, I think he was about 6-4 or so.

Yea but Tucker was in shape. I don't get why some people consider it an advantage when a fighter resembles Tony Soprano and spends half of his training camp at McDonald's.
I think Wallin being a better athlete than Fury had a lot to do with the problems he was causing Fury.

Fury looks lean at 245 lbs. He's much bigger than the likes of Tucker. The last time Fury weighed what Tucker weighed in there (221 lbs) was when he was a teenager. As for Wallin he's an awkward, 6'5, mobile southpaw with decent output. Mike was none of those things.

Tyson Fury isnt beating a 1980's Mike Tyson, not a fucking chance
At their best I'd take Mike but it wouldn't be a walk in the park. If a guy like the aforementioned Tucker can walk him into big uppercuts and keep him at bay then Fury would likely be able to as well. When Mike did manage to get inside he was constantly tied up so that he couldn't let his hands go. Fury already does this and leans on opponents to drain them. The size difference between them is even more comical than it was with Usyk.

You explained earlier that comparing Tucker and Fury isn't good. Now you use it yourself lol

I could now apply reverse logic and say that Tucker was able to do that because he's smaller/lighter than Big Belly Fury.

Tucker for me is a much more talented fighter than Fury, if he had of been able to stay off the drugs i think he could have easily been the second best of that generation

Fury is dreadful, he wins an absolute stinker against Wlad then retires, then he fights a few schmucks and then Wilder and people seem to think of him as some sort of boxing god, ignoring he nearly got outboxed by a ZERO fight MMA fighter and should have lost to Wallin

He isnt beating Tyson in his prime ever, he brings people onto his uppercuts...he has landed about 5 in his career, one that knocked fat man Whyte out and he caught Usyk with 2 in 24 rounds
