Personally? Machida UD. Maybe a KO.

I don't know. That's an excellent matchup but Machida would pick Jacare apart on the feet. Jacare could get a blitz, but Jacare is typically explosive standing early in the fight then he starts winging punches and having nothing behind them. That happened tonight as well. It happened in his Strikeforce run as well. Jacare could get Machida down and put a clinic on him.

It would be a very intriguing matchup. I think Souza should get next though.

Machida.. Jacare's TDs are not good enough to take Machida down & Lyoto wins on the feet

Yes they are. Not any and every time he goes for a takedown but Jacare can take Machida down.

Jacare's striking still looks really stiff...I would still favor Machida (especially in a 5 rounder)

Machida... Most underrated tr are down defense in the game.. He is extremely tough in the clinch. Machida UD.

I see Machida KOing him in the second.

I'd root for Souza, but I think Machida would just pick him apart on the feet and get the decision win.

Jacare was having a hard time with carmont's striking. Machida would befuddle and decapitate him.

Machida. How is Jacare gonna get it to the ground?

Machida doesnt have the reach advantage as Carmont

He doesn't need it. He's faster, quicker, more elusive, more diverse, and just plain better.

Are you insinuating that Machida will lose based purely off the fact that he has a reach disadvantage (which he does not. Both have 74 inch reach)?

Machida was at 205 for god sakes. He's fought guys with more reach his entire career.

I doubt this even happens, but if i had to pick i'd say Machida aswell.

Machida close to a 2:1 fav. He's going to have the speed advantage and will easily win on the feet. Jacare looks like he has added a little too much muscle and it's slowing him down as we saw tonight against Carmont.
