Maia stand up skills are close to mine and I doubt I'd be anywhere near that list.

He is so skilled on the ground, that it makes up for his lack of standup.

Doesn't really help your argument when you cherry pick like that. Cruz has excellent footwork, defensive boxing, and takedowns, but his strikes are weak shit and rarely hurt anybody.

IMO his ground game skill didn't make up for his lack of stand up skills in Marquardt, Munoz, or the Chris fight.....
