After watching Stipe x Ngannou last night and seeing Stipe fail to finish an inexperienced, gassed, and broken Ngannou for 4 rounds despite landing hundreds of clean strikes It really made Stipe look a lot more susceptible to being beaten by someone like a DC, Jones, Cain etc (I think he loses to all 3).

Before Jones was suspended Dana said he was interested in Jones taking on Stipe in December and a lot of recent news/articles regarding Jones and USADA seem to be indicating that he could be back a lot sooner than we thought so we could very well be seeing this fight within the next year or so.

We also seen what happened when Stipe took on a lengthy opponent with a huge reach advantage

I have Jones outclassing Stipe and winning by TKO (via head kick) or a very dominant UD.

Hint: Sometimes it's smarter not to blow your wad trying to finish your opponent, especially one who can KO you at any time on the feet.

No one in the sport uses their reach nearly as good as Jones though, regardless of how much of a reach advantage they have or not.

Also Jones is very good at using his kicks defensively AND offensively to pick his opponents apart.

JJ could have gone down as the greatest ever. It's his own damn fault that it will never happen. Add the fact that he is his own worst enemy, and can't beat his own demons, and you have a potential all-time great that is gone, and will never return. He's mentally weak.

Stipe lost when he was young and unsure of his skills. He broke through that wall years ago, and has done nothing but win ever since. Faster, stronger, longer, more skilled opponents have been thrown at him, and he has beaten them all. He's a real champ who truly believes in himself, and has no fear whatsoever.

Give JJ 6 months of steroids and 6 kilos of coke, and he still wouldn't beat Stipe.
