Who would win in a fight: Robert McCall (Equalizer) or John Wick?

John Wick 2 opening scene was shit. A bunch of mafia goons watching their buds get dropped in hand to hand and everyone deciding to get in close instead of shooting him.

I'd go with Denzel as McCall.

Wick is good when armed to the teeth but just a spontaneous encounter, McCall takes it.

If it's a warehouse gunfight, my money is on Wick.

I fucking hate that they've reduced the equalizer to a dumb action hero that just uses his unrealistic ninja skills to beat up bad guys.

The real equalizer used his brains to beat the bad guys, it wasn't all just walking into rooms full of armed henchmen and kicking all their asses.

My understanding is Wick is a straight up assassin while McCall is more of a survivalist. By that I mean if both are armed to their heart content and in a open field, Wick would have the edge. While if you drop them in a forest with no weapons and goal is to kill the other person first, that's more up McCall's alley.
