DC already worked his way up to top 3 and #1 contender at HW would Gus do better than that?
prob the guy who already had lots of success at HW......
We'll only know once the two battle it out.
However, DC has mostly fought washed up old fighters.
And by old, I mean in their careers, not their actual age.
But in some cases it goes hand in hand.
Really..... Is this guy for real?
DC would've stayed at heavy if it wasn't for Cain being the Heavyweight champ. In other words, HE WAS A TOP CONTENDER before dropping to LHW...
Great post OP!
Well Daniel Cormier is undefeated in all his heavyweight fights.
So definitely Gus.
I don't see Gus getting past Mir, Bigfoot, Barnett or Palelei. He does have a fighting chance against Roy, till the cannon connects.
DC gets fat as HW I don't think he'll make it up there, cardio sucks.
Was-a-ton DC all the way.
Contrary to what many people think...
Jones beat Gus, so if Gus couldn't get past Jones...what do you think his chances are at HW? I'd like to see him vs DC at some point though
lol at LW
I thought DC looked different nowadays.
relative to who? who is fighting "fresh" fighter?
just came to say hahahahahahahahahhaha
This all day....seriously!
Im alone thinking DC would do better at HW than Gus?weird!
Gus has the frame to fight at HW, and the skills to be competitive there. DC has the skills, but he's too small to fight at HW. Tossing around Hendo is a whole different ballgame from trying to ragdoll guys like Barnett.
Gustafsson was rocked as shit from that spinning elbow in round 4 (IIRC) by Jones, who doesn't exactly have a ton of power in his strikes--never once KOed someone clean.
Gustafsson doesn't have the chin for HW. He'd get Maldonado'ed by anyone decent.
