Who wins the democratic vote?

Bernie. And if he doesn’t split the Dem vote it will be real interesting between him and Trump, closer than people want to believe imo.

Another election where America is doomed lol

I don’t think Bernie would split dem vote. They would all back him and plan to stall him in Congress

Fairly good idea

Bernie is going to win and he's going to crush Trump. He beats him in every head to head poll.

Oddly enough I think both Biden and Sanders have a good chance of beating Trump.. well, I felt a while back Biden did. Not sure now tho.

On the other hand Bernie Vs Trump would be a nail biter for sure imo
Nope.

Bernie v Trump becomes Socialism v Capitalism.

Trump will curb stomp Bernie.

This is anecdotal but, here goes.. I live in Illinois (Democrat stronghold), but they’re establishment Dems. Pretty much all of them that I talk to will not vote for Bernie, a few are irate about him being so close to getting the Nom. These are ‘I’m with her’ types that still have Obama and Hillary stickers on their cars. They’re also an older group in their 40’s and 50’s. Younger Dems I speak to seem to be willing to support him but a few are turned off by him.

So, I think there’s a chance the Dems wind up running someone independently because I think both Bernie and Joe will have a large amount of support which would in turn possibly split their vote. It’s my opinion the Dems wouldn’t obviously back stab Bernie again, too risky. I think if it happens it comes in the form of the establishment telling Joe to run anyway if Bernie get the nom, but telling him on the low.

Well my vote behind Bernie is in part due to the fact that I think he has the best chance. But I have heard for other dems that only Klobuchar, Pette, etc have a chance at winning.

So this is a big divide in the party, they are split on what elements have the best chance against Trump.

For me, Bernie can capture the energy needed to being put young and POc voters. I think that can do much better than getting the moderate in line

Baseless speculation. You stated it as a fact, he's on video saying the opposite. He might have the most solid track record of any current politician, I've no reason to doubt him on this.
Basically anyone who gives the left more power is going to soften immigration enforcement. Doesn't matter who it is. the president isn't really much more than a figurehead for the party they lead.

Because of all the made up bullshit they've tried to pin on him, wasting our tax money on a fraud impeachment, bullshit Russian collusion, radical pseudo communists largely composing the dem field etc etc etc........
I think your off the mark here but what do I know?
I’m curious if you think all future presidents will want to be impeached on charges related to their corrupt actions because of how much more electable it makes them?

Don't you think this is a bit out there? The whole Russian collusion thing has been proven to be bullshit, as if it weren't obvious prior to being proven false and the impeachment fraud is/was just that: a fraud.
Maybe you feel differently but that's where I'm coming from. The impeachment fraud amounted to the dems reelection campaign, and it failed.
As for the future stuff, who knows? It's case by case like most else.

As I’m someone who generally and genuinely dislikes the field.. why are so many people so confident Trump has this on lock?

For a lot of people, it's probably just a form of the False Consensus Effect. Plus some trolling (the betting odds would be extremely attractive if someone truly believed that he was a lock, but the people saying that aren't taking advantage--that tells you something).

I just find it hard to believe when people say he is being helped by being impeached. He will be acquitted but the votes will go down party lines. John Bolton isn’t going away just because the senate voted to not let him testify. Now he can just talk without the burden of being under oath. It looks bad. Trump was not a popular candidate in 2016 and a lot of people saw him a lesser of 2 evils. I would think he looks a lot more evil now.

We obviously disagree on several ideologies, and that's fine, but the reason this helps Trump is because it's so transparently bullshit. The DNC assumes the populace is too stupid to see through their charade (and sadly this is true in too many cases, as evidenced by this message board), but every time Schiff, Nadler, Pelosi etc opens their lying shit filled mouths Trumps vote count goes up.
Why? Because they are WAY more corrupt than Trump. Consider the term limit issue. Power breeds corruption and all of the aforementioned dems have been in a position of power for over 20 years.

And I have no doubt the whole Bolton issue will be the next witch hunt. And, again after each of these failed witch hunts less and less people believe it. They've cried wolf too often and too much.

if Bernie gets the nod, it's a true sign the Dem party is fucking dead in the water

and Shillary will no doubt have a coronary (we should be so lucky)

but it will be Sleepy Joe IMO

Trump will destroy him and the gnashing of teeth will continue four four mour years

Believe its joe as well.

With Warren's latest comments I believe it's a two person race.

I don’t think it’s about seeing through ‘charades’ tho -people these days are pretty hard line partisan for their side of the isle. They’ll just roll their eyes at any accusations these days and assume it’s a baseless attack conspiracy further digging them in on their positions, or ‘omg can you believe what the president did, literally Hitler!!’

Let’s put it this way, nothing Bolton has to say today under oath or tomorrow right before the election is going to change either sides mind about anything. Trump is already guilty in the eyes of anyone whose mind is made up about it, and not guilty of anything in the eyes of people whose mind is made up on that end.

Even moderates like myself don’t seem to give a shit about any of this because it’s really reaching for years on end to dig something up.. and this is it? A phone call to another country where something may or may not have happened? This ‘impeachment’ is symbolic of status quo party line towing and the predicted acquittal will be more of the same. You know it’s pointless semantics when the outcomes are known by anyone not living in a cave way before anything even goes down.

We knew months ago the House was going to impeach, and the Senate was going to acquit. It’s that simple.
