Cant recall the last time Silva actually looked good offensively in a fight. Before anyone brings up the Izzy fight, Silva only landed a whole 31 significant strikes to Izzys 65 over 15 minutes.. Andy doesnt have the same abilities anymore

I could see either winning even in 2020. Georges isnt as big or enhanced as Sonnen or Weidman were. Not as big or dare i say dangerous as Brunson or Canon. But he has flawless technique so maybe yeah. And credit Bisping for dropping Andy but Andy imo pissed that fight away and I am still shook by it

In my mind I have always seen Anderson turning up the heat all of a sudden like he can do and finishing GSP via a variety of strikes. But he may not be able too do that at 45 yrs of age

But it is 2020 and as freakshow as UFC can be Dana will not let this happen. He did Bisping a buddy move for the $ but I dont see Andy-GSP as possible

Back when this fight was a real possibility with both being dominant champions and in their prime, I'd pick Silva without much thought.

In 2020, GSP has aged much better (I know he is younger than Silva before anyone jumps my ass). Going off what we have seen recently even though we only saw gsp once, GSP looked really good while Silva just looks slower and worse off each time out.

Aging GSP destroys whatever remains of Silva's ghost with utmost ease in 2020.

I feel like gsp has some fight left in him while Silva seems like he just turns up out of habit at this point. Would have been phenomenal in their prime. Can GSP keep Silva down and stay in his guard while delivering GNP without being subbed? Will Silva enter the matrix on GSP in stunning fashion? Sadly, much like Khabib and Tony, we will never have this answer.
