I have a feeling Ronda is going to stand with her the whole time I think she wants to prove a point that she's not just the best grappler in the Division but also the best striker.

She's not going to keep standing and trading if she's losing, she's not stupid.

If she starts beating Holm standing, maybe.

Ronda could brawl the shit out of her maybe. She obviously hits pretty hard.

I think she will try it, she will figure out she doesn't have the advantage there, and then she will swiftly takedown and submit Holm at some point in round 1. I do think she will try it though, so this fight may last longer than some of her other recent fights.

We have yet to see Holm in any trouble standing, her use of distance and footwork is phenomenal and a aggressive style plays right into that. If the fight involved just standup?. Hard to say, Holm would be better on the outside but there are many things Ronda could do with clinches, dirty boxing etc to win the fight.

Even if they stood and traded Holly would be extremely cautious to commit because of the "threat" of grappling, a boxing match obviously Holly wins, an MMA fight on the feet i don't know

Ronda looks like she throws with bad intentions. Holm does not.

Ronda will run in jabbing and pressuring for a takedown, and if Holm is able to keep distance between them and stuff takedowns, it should be an interesting and competitive fight.

But if she's taken down in that first, immediate jab-barrage, then it will most likely be another day in the office for Rousey.

Hopefully, it's more interesting than that.

I think Ronda will trade with Holm and only take it to the ground if she feels like she is losing the trade.

I don't think that Ronda needs to be worried about Holly's hands, but she is stupid if she doesn't prepare to defend the head kicks though. Holly only has a "kickers chance" IMO.

    What a stupid question

    Rousey would dismantle her

Obviously if they just stand and trade punches Holly will pick Ronda apart and win a decision. But Ronda's not stupid and Holly doesn't hit terribly hard (at least she hasn't in the UFC so far). Call me crazy but I think Ronda has more raw power and Holly has better technique to keep the distance where she wants it.

However it won't be standup only. Ronda would be stupid not to take her down and submit her quickly to keep her under 1 minute streak going.
