Who watches black mirror and which episode is your favourite

The story/premise of "Playtest" is great, but I wonder if the lead actor was friends with one of the directors or higher ups. He just seemed so hacky that it took me out of it.

- In the first scene: Ruffles haphazardly around in the room packing, forgets the keys, comes back in and SLAMS his hand down to pick them up, only to try and slowly sneak out... So is he supposed to be all aggro/emo or is he supposed to be quiet and sneaky? Can't really do both.

- When he goes to the place to do the test: Walks into a workspace and decides to be loud and obnoxious about everything... for no real reason.

- Then there's the whole cliche "Here's a large stoic intimidating security person, let me act like a goofball to see if he reacts".

Got to agree. I still enjoyed the episode but it was like they cast Pewdiepie as the lead and never told him to stop pissing about.

Alot of good stuff, and alot of bad stuff IMO. Show was VERY hit or miss. The way they completely twisted some episodes were VERY well done, and others you could see a mile away.

Jon Ham episode was great
Kid wacking off then fighting to death was great (child porn twist came from left field)
Killer being forced to play role in her own human exhibit was a FANTASTIC twist
The "Like" episode thing was humorous as in I could see us going there in the future (scary)
VR game episode was cool but strange/anti climactic ending for me. Wanted more horror.

Some episodes were just complete let downs. They either didn't get me emotionally invested enough to care or had plots you could see a mile away (one where marines were killing REAL people that MASK covered up).

I just watched the first episode.
National Anthem.
It was pretty funny.

I thought I could bing watch this but after National Anthem I realized I could only take 1 episode a time

It took sometime before it took. With public interest, it will generation money, and likely have better stories. I just started watching Humans which is on AI; the singularity similar to Westworld though, an entirely different show. Awesome show if you are keen on something new. I am unhappy to know Its like a couple years before anymore Westworld and almost a year for season 4 black Mirror.

1. The Entire History Of You
2. Nosedive
3. San Junipero
4. Be Right Back
5. Shut Up And Dance
6. White Bear
7. White Christmas
8. The National Anthem
9. Men Against Fire
10. Hated In The Nation
11. Playtest
12. 15 Million Credits
13. The Waldo Moment

Entire History of You so far for me, but I'm only 9 episodes in.

Most of them are great and I've seen several of them multiple times.
If I had to choose an absolute favourite, I'd go with the bee drones episode.

Entire History of You
Shut up and Dance
Nosedive
Men against fire

Hmmmm, always wondered about the hype of this show.

Only ever saw one episode, the one with the ability to rewind etc. First season years ago!

Might have to watch them all.

Fifteen Million Merits - The episode where everybody has to cycle on exercise bikes to generate power for the government and in return money for themselves.

they was the best world building imo

i really wanted to know more, how did they get there, whats the outside world like etc.

i think the waldo moment AND hated in the nation were the bad episodes

hated in the nation was just edgy for the sake of edgy

answer me!!!!

My favourite is the one where everyone's life is based on "likes" or upvotes, kind of like the new and unimproved sherdog

And you, tell me yours, you fucks

That's definitely the best one. Some people aren't far off living their lives like that.

I also like the one where people live their lives clocking up credits by riding an exercise bike that generates power just to get a chance to be a reality TV star.

If I had to pick I'd probably say White Bear, but my least favorite episodes were the pig fucker episode and the Waldo Momement. They are all good though.

It's a kick ass episode, but I thought it was kind of funny how the San Junipero got so much critical acclaim just because there was a lesbian theme to it.

Lesbian theme? That was your take away?

How about the fact that the young black chick was acting her ass off?

Or how the twist snuck up on you but left a great trail of breadcrumbs?

Or how the "choice" presents such an impactful decision on faith?

Or the damn soundtrack?

There was a lot more to that episodes then a lesbian theme.
