Who was the best HW in 2009? 2010?

In 2009 Fedor was about to lose to Werdum, Werdum got KO'd by JDS a year ago and would lose to Overeem next year, Overeem was smashing guys in Japan and devoting half his time to kickboxing, Lesnar was UFC champ but he would lose it to Cain next year, Cain was a hot prospect but still untested against the highest calibre, JDS had beaten Werdum and declining Cro Cop.

In 2010 Fedor had begun his losing streak, Werdum was about to lose to Overeem, Overeem was KOing Todd Duffee, winning the K-1 grand prix, and about to beat Werdum and Lesnar, Lesnar lost to Cain, Cain was about to get KO'd by JDS, JDS was on a KO streak but he still had doubters.

So who do you think was truly the best HW in each of those years?

I mean in retrospect it may have been Daniel Cormier , started his mma career at heavyweight in strikeforce in 2009, through 2010 he was 6-0

Didn't beat a who's who during that time but mostly because he was relatively unknown , he certainly went on to knock down a few elite level guys and had he not moved to LHW who knows ...

JDS and Cain, in retrospect. Those two would've fucked up UberReem at the time in my opinion.
