Joker. Via pencil trick.
I'm still disapoint Bane was played by Ton Hardy. Brilliant actor just he's actually smaller than Batman. In the comics isn't he meant to be 6'8 and huge?
What about the Rock as Bane? He does quiet and intense really well (Faster).This. You can't have a jacked midget playing bane. Dude looks like he started working out last week at the local YMCA. Bane is supposed to be an imposing figure not someone who the local female HS volleyball team would tower over in disgust. Bane is supposed to be a steroid monster to the extreme. They should have found someone else and given the character fewer lines if his acting was bad. They had that one women controlling him anyways so just give her all the lines and have him shut up.
This bothers me to no end. Reacher’s size is an integral part of his character.Jack Reacher was like that, supposed to be huge so they called Tom Cruise to do it. Tom is barely bigger than Mighty Mouse.
That's not bad, although Johnson would definitely water Bane down, but both films have anyway. Bane is the ridiculous dichotomy of a luchador you must take seriously during polite conversion. There's almost no pulling that off outside comics. My Fantasy Casting for Bane would have been The Rock. Even the skin-tone is right, as Bane's mother was South American.

How can you call that bane lame? I guess that’s just your opinion because a lot of people thought he was awesome. After having seen Batman & Robin on the big screen, I really thought I would never watch a Batman movie again. Still, so many people around me praised the Ledger performance as Joker, that I gave it a try… and wasn't disappointed. Dude nailed the role and stole the movie. It could be recalled "Joker".
The Bane wasn't bad, but not good either. An ok actor performance for a very lame Bane (not the actor's fault). After having read Knightfall in the comics and considering it one of the best Batman sagas ever, I really couldn't enjoy that Bane portrayed in the movie.
The joker was just excellent in whatever standards
Yeah I agree. That whole thing kind of ruined the movie for me. They did everything right at the start but Bane should have been the one to climb out of the prison and shouldn’t have been killed easily by cateoman.I actually felt like they neutered Bane. He wasn’t even the one to climb out of the pit. He’s supposed to be Bruce Wayne’s equal (and opposite).

He had to be made more realistic for the movie.

Not sure why they made him look so strong through most of the movie and then ruined his character at the end.
I was underwhelmed with the ending storyline. But I thought Banes character apart from that was still badassOf course it's my opinion. Compared to the comic, I found the movie one pretty lame. In the comics, Bane is a cold master planner, patient, charismatic, strong. In the movie, they give him a weird mask he didn't have in knightfall, he's an underling to Talia for whatever reason, and after a strong start, he disappears like a random char. Just my opinion of course, but I found the movie Bane way below the comic one, while the Ledger Joker was just excellent.
And from another comment of yours, seems you also found Bane underwhelming
