Hatton is fantastic at cutting off the ring. He has made a career of it and even did it against Floyd although it didn't work.

Marciano is a good pick but like Hagler alot of that also has to do with Stamina

Azumah Nelson unless he is fighting Whitaker

Tyson of course is a great pick.


Chavez was very skilled at it.


Juan Diaz is also very good at pressure and cutting the ring off.

Oh then I saw the other thread on Armstrong and it jolted me. Yeah I've seen footage of him and he was also relentless.

Aaron Pryor could cut the ring off effectively if he wanted.

I'll certainly give Hattons foot work a great big nod in approval. It's his biggest asset IMHO. It allows for his style to be effective.

For a heavyweight, George Foreman had masterful footwork and was great at cutting off the ring. Chavez, Cotto as of late is really good, etc
