Who wants to see Edgar vs Cruz ?

Was very impressed with Cruz's victory against Dillshaw, that he came off that long lay off and beat the fighter who showed impressive array of skill set against then undefeated champion in Barao.

I would really love to see the fight between Edgar vs Cruz, the one fight that interests me the most under 145 lbs now.

Frankly, I have no personal interests in seeing Frankie Edgar fight Conor Mcgregor, and Aldo deserves that rematch a lot more anyways.

I do. It would be AWESOME. I remember Frankie said he considered moving to 135 and try to win that belt if he ever achieved to win the gold at 145.

I feel like between Frankie and Cruz, they are two of the top level guys who are legitimately the right size for their weight class.

Cruz is a small framed guy with a modest build. Likewise with Frankie, but Frankie is a little thicker.

Maybe a 140 catchweight, but I think it would have to be 145 before it could happen at 135.

The Featherweight belt is up for grabs if Conor doesn't return. Gonna be a while before we can even consider that fight. Edgar ain't moving down to bantamweight unless he loses another titleshot at FW, since he is currently the #1 contender. & he isn't doing a superfighter with Cruz unless he is holding the FW belt. Featherweight is on hold.

But I'd like to see that fight, even though I know Edgar who was able to wrestle with big guys like Bendo would easily outwrestle Cruz and take anything Cruz could dish out standing.

It's one of my dream fights even though I like both guys very much. When Edgar captures 145 belt, it will be promoted as champion vs champion fight which will make it more epic.

And Cruz by decision is an easy pick.

Want to see Frankie vs Conor first. Frankie losing to Cruz messes any chance of that up. I think there's a very good chance Cruz decisions him.
