Who tainted their legacy the worst

Chuck for getting knocked out by a sloppy non drunk lol

Jose Aldo probably.

KOd in 13 seconds and hasn't been the same ever since.

:(

But in all seriousness, BJ Penn slightly edges it over Chuck and Anderson's decline can be explained by different things like his shins breaking in half + fighting against dangerous asf opponents like DC and Izzy on short notice.

Chuck and BJ and its not even close.

Chuck was sad.

At least, Silva still looks pretty good against good competition considering his age.

Easily Penn. Then Liddell, then Silva.

Some context: all three guys last ten fights

Gonna say BJ. Anderson has been competitive in all of his losses. Chuck looked god awful, but at least didn’t get knocked out in a street fight by a rando

I forgot Chuck lost to Tito. That puts him over the top.

Bj getting knocked out cold by that fat drunken slob takes the cake.

Among casuals it is probably BJ.
Most still agree Anderson is a goat cansidate, even with the losses late in his career.

The younger guys don’t even consider BJ a top 10 goat.

Easily Penn. Then Liddell, then Silva.

I'd say Silva....

Everyone knew BJ Penn wasn't actually that good when Frankie done him and he'd lost a few times before that also.

Chuck was also finished with strikes a few times in his run at LHW (including getting exposed in Pride) so his chin was always going to die.

Silva lost his whole aura by being arrogant and then couldn't buy a win for nearly 10 years. A shocking fall from grace.

Bj
Chuck
Anderson

Anderson would still be winning if he fought lower level guys.
Chuck would get slept by unranked guys and bj by drunk bums

BJ ended as an absolute disgrace. Chuck was getting KO'd towards the end, but at least it was against guys like Shogun, Franklin, Rashad (in his prime). BJ finished by getting subbed by Ryan Hall, and losing decisions to Guida and a 40 year old Denis fucking Siver. That's just sad.

Of the choices in the OP, I vote BJ. As a write-in choice, Bones Jones

Depends on how you define "Taint"

One guy failed twice for PED's. The other guys just didn't know when to quit fighting. Oh wait, the first guy has that issue too.

Silva because Chuck and BJ just get over looked like oh they were geriatrics but Silva cheated so that was worse
