    Raphael Assuncao

Pros: 6 fight winning streak(highest among active 135ers), win over TJ Dillashaw, #5 BW(sherdog rankings)
Cons: relatively unknown, loss to Faber, TJ win was controversial, less than stellar overall MMA resume

Urijah Faber(assuming he beats Alex and is willing to fight TJ)

Pros: MMA legend, biggest MMA star/celebrity below 155, #3 ranked BW
Cons: 3 UFC title shots all ending in defeat, not on a winning streak

    Renan Barao

Pros: Former UFC BW champion/top 10 p4p, #2 ranked BW, universally respected and feared in MMA, coach managed to come up with lots of excuses
    Cons: rematches suck

    Dominick Cruz

Pros: uncrowned former UFC BW champion
Cons: coming off 3 year long layoff

only one i see is raphael rematch. it wouldnt be a draw at all but it makes sense. i dont think he will fight faber any time soon, barao got murked, mizugaki is still probably 1 fight away, and cruz needs a tune up fight (if he comes back)

Assuncao. TJ gets a shot to get his revenge in a fight a lot of people thought he loss and Assuncao gets his shot at the belt.

Want to see Cruz fight Takeya to make sure he's 100%. I want Barao to have some time to improve too after getting dominated like that. No reason to rush him back in there. Don't want him to end up like JDS. Maybe get his confidence back with a couple of wins.

It's Rapheal Assuncao. He deserves it. Or keep having him fight people that still wont get his name any bigger.

Cruz should fight Barao in a Fight Night Main Event. That would be huge! Faber and TJ I doubt ever happens. They are too close of friends.

    Assuncao......because it's more than just a title shot, there's a story there.

    Raphael Assuncao.

Since he was originally slated to fight Barao for the BW title and the split decision with Dillashaw makes it the logical choice. Can't wait to see how they promote this very marketable fight...

Assuncao probably gets it as a co-main for a PPV or on Fox Sports 1.

Cruz will probably ask for that title shot with the mindset that he can outwork TJ and he will probably get it considering Dana has repeatedly said he would give it to Cruz if he wanted it. Thus leaving Barao vs Assuncao

Lol this morning I was on the subway thinking, "I bet Sherdog is going to start saying how stacked BW is over these next few months."

    lol it really isn't

Looking at this thread, there really seems to be only one viable contender, if this thread was made about WW, MW, LW, there'd be anywhere from 3-6 names being mentioned for each division.
