Who should Tyson Fury fight to work his way back into contention?

Who is out there that is a good gate keeper? If they throw him right into it with Wilder, or AJ, and he loses, well, then he loses all his star power, and any other potential fights. And that is a lot of money. They need to give Fury a chance to warm up, and practice first.

How about Dillian Whyte or Chris Arreola?

Who should he not fight because if he loses to them, then there is no point in having him fight either AJ, or Wilder?

Well Dillian Whyte wants to fight every body so ............

Dillian Whyte
Shannon Briggs
Haye vs Bellew Winner to make it the biggest show.

Haye/Bellew winner would do very good business. I think Haye on form could potentially give Fury some trouble too if he wasnt at the top of his game.

Other than that? probably a fringe top 10 kinda guy like Breazale, Kownacki,Takam or Browne at first. Then (assuming he wins) moves on to someone like Whyte, Parker or Pulev. Then after that (again assuming he wins) hes ready for AJ or Wilder.

Pulev would be good to get rid of ring rust. He is pretty stationary and doesn’t have that much power. Fury could dance around him 11 rounds before finishing him.

I starting to think David Price. Both are really tall. Cant make it too EZ for Fury.

Can't make it easy? David Price is literally the weakest name put out in this thread not one Official Boxing commission had him in their top 15 before Saturday's ko loss.

There's absolutely no way he'll be thrown in against guys as good as Pulev and Whyte for his comeback fight.

He'll get someone like Dimitrenko or Helenius.

What?

Fury although a big fat coke head deserves better than this. It would be interesting if he came back.

Needs to work that animal fat and coke off though.

Shannon Briggs for a laugh

Winner of Haye/Bellew is the answer, would be a huge fight locally for the UK and give him leverage for a Joshua or Wilder, whoever wins that. Imagine how huge Fury v Joshua would be if Fury beat Haye and Joshua beat Wilder? Biggest HW fight since Lewis Tyson, maybe bigger since both are still relevant.

Yeah I’d say a fringe top ten guy. Not haye or bellew. Hayes done at this level, this was a good fight when it was supposed to happen. And fury vs bellew would be a terrible mismatch.

He’ll need a couple of fights against decent - top competition before he should consider getting in the ring with either Joshua or wilder.

I agree. I think he should be looking at these guys as a 2nd fight, then a shot at the title. If he is at or near the level before the lay off, he’ll handle these guys fairly easily, especially whyte

I don't think haye wants to fight fury. I'm not interested in seeing haye fight anyone anymore.

Dave killed him. He drops out of fights too often. He doesnt like taking fights he won't win.

I think if haye beats bellew easily then Haye Wilder could be good if the AJ fight doesn't happen. Will be a final pay day for Haye and should have fairly big appeal given Haye is name and help build up Wilder presence in UK. Also Wilder would take it as should be fairly easy

Fury needs to fight deep right away.
Fight the Trifecta of Doom: Koval, Gavern, Chauncy Welliver.
