One judge seeing it for Kenney doesn’t make it a close fight. A competitive fight, yes. But it wasn’t really close.

Dom didn’t squeak the rounds he won in the fight, rounds 2 & 3 were fairly one sided, and round was fairly close too.

Kenney isn’t going anywhere, I would hesitate to say he is world champion material but he is a shoe-in for a future top five, with wins over Royval, Borg, Manny Bermudez and a first round submission of Louis Smolka it’s a bigger win for Cruz than it is being made out to be, which can be expected given that 135 is arguably the toughest division in the sport

You know you can still make money fighting without being champion.

If he's healthy and willing, he should keep fighting. He's not some washed up fighting taking KO losses every fight.

He's been a champ, been at the top, and has tons of skill and experience. He still has a lot to offer even if he doesn't regain the title.

Aldo or Frankie. Both are “dream” matches between legends. They’re at the same point in their career where they aren’t what they used to be but can still hang near the top. Makes all the sense in the world to do either of those fights.
