I think at this point in his career, he should only fight 3 round fights. He doesn’t save his energy and tries to finish more in 3 round fights.

I'd just rather see him stay at home and be a family man.

Legacy is already sealed, he aint sniffing another belt. He can only damage his legacy by continuing fighting at this point.
 
Aldo was never what he was propped up to be, most of his title defenses and wins are from low skill guy so it makes his resume seem good
 
I miss WEC Aldo. Hes never really been the same since then.

He was a garage band back then. Now he's like this over produced version.
 
MMA evolves every 5 or so years. The game has moved past him. He’s now a small featherweight and a normal sized, past his prime bantamweight.
 
I know he kicked alot more than usual but he seemed to abandon it pretty early


Guys legs are probably messed tf up at this point, I know hes still relatively young but guy has some PRIDEish miles on him at this point

When he lost his belt to Max he got destroyed again in the rematch.

Then went on a 2 fight win streak then lost again. What is this murder streak you talk of?
 
Aldo is better suited for 3 rounds.

If he continues fighting tho, I think the UFC are gonna use him to try and build a name for up and coming fighters. Like they did with Cowboy, BJ Penn, Anderson and others.

Wouldn't be suprised to see Sean O'Malley vs Jose Aldo headline a ESPN card next year.

Kind of agree. And Aldo one of my favorites. He may be a three round warrior as OP said, but if you can’t do the 5rd fights with the big dogs..... what’s the point aside from collecting checks?

Is this the crowd that when a fighter they love who never evolves loses he was no longer in his prime? lol Aldo never evolved.
 
I mean, if we're being realistic Aldo has only lost to top 5 opponents, mostly top 3 and champions. However, not sure if I wanna see him turned into a gatekeeper for years.

Let's stop fucking around and do Cruz vs Aldo. Then they both ride off into the sunset with a nice pay day. High fives all around.
